Hello sweet friend, though I’ve been silent (mostly processing my own season) I am glad I saw and read this post. You have been so faithful stewarding the words inside you, sharing them faithfully and prayerfully. You’ve offered such thoughtful missives; may the Lord continue to use those seeds to plant what He will in the hearts of readers. May this new season that unfolds for you, refresh your soul as you rest in Him. ♥️🙏
Thank you so much, Paola, that means a lot to me. I'm grateful to have met you and to have gotten to learn this craft together over in the cohort. I look forward to seeing everything the Lord has ahead for you too.
Adsum, thank you for sharing yourself in this space. I will miss seeing your writing and am praying for insight and wisdom for you as you move forward ✨
I am thankful to have found your writing on here and through the guild.
You have a wonderful way with words — thoughtful, elegant and theological, with a good dose of humour thrown in!
I understand the need to stop and take stock. May you follow God's leading always. I have a feeling your writing will show up again in the future. Grace and peace to you!
Given how British my humour is, it is quite possible that you're a member of an exclusive group that actually picked up on that haha. I'm glad you did. I'm thankful for you too, and I look forward to seeing what's ahead for you.
I don't know what's ahead yet, though I will still be writing in one way or another, just perhaps for the world to see. Grace and peace be with you too.
As have I, Justin! I'm glad to have gotten to know you this past little while. I know the Lord will continue to work through you and what you're doing here.
Adsum, I will surely miss seeing you around, but what an example of being sensitive to the Lord's nudges and convictions. I'm thankful for it, and that I've gotten to meet you!
Adsum, thank you for being faithful and obedient to the Spirit’s leading. I have no doubt that same Spirit will lead you to what’s next and I have no doubt it will be good. Life is long and rich and patience is a gift. See you around, if not sooner, then later. Very grateful for you.
As ever, you are an immense encouragement to me, friend. I'm grateful for everything you've done to spur me on in this. I don't know what's next, but I trust that God knows what he's doing. I'm sure we'll bump into each other at some point down the line. If not, tea with Austen in one of our Father's many rooms.
Thankful for you too, Kelly. Your friendship means the world. It is no stretch to say that I wouldn't have gotten any of this done had I not met you and Wendy. I look forward to seeing what God has next.
And to you, friend. When I look back over the past four years writing this newsletter, some of my fondest memories are of working together with you on the Polycarp series.
Hello old friend. It’s been a while since I reached out. Just saw your post. You are wise and very gifted and I pray God will use the time you are taking to work in your heart & soul. Listening to His prompting is so needed for all of us!
Thanks Elsie, I'm so sorry for the radio silence on my end. I had to withdraw from Social Media a few months ago, just because it wasn't what it once was anymore. I'm sorry that meant that we haven't been in as regular contact though, bless you friend. I hope you and yours are doing well. I pray that the Lord would give me wisdom for the next steps too. I'm glad I spent these last years writing this newsletter, but I'm also ready to close the book, for now at least.
Oh never apologize for social media! I have been off most of the channels for a while and it’s been hard to engage. Our family life has been busy to say the least and I went back to work part time which has made writing very challenging. Is there another way for us to stay in touch? I hope you get to attend more Austen festivals and spend time in real embodied community and Mrs.Ravenhill is also doing well.
That makes sense, I'm sorry that has been the case though. I hope the Lord is blessing you through it all the same. I'll send you a message and we can figure out which details would be best. I cannot wait to go to the Jane Austen festival this year. It is going to be a big one, I think! Mrs R is doing very well, she qualified as a counsellor and has started up her own practice!
Congratulations to her!! Yes its Austen's birthday this year isnt it? I am looking forward to watching a new BBC show on Cassandra Austen coming in Summer 2025.
It is indeed! I'm thinking of sewing a new waistcoat and trousers for the occasion! We'll be going with a group, as walls, although a few of our number recently moved back to the States.
I hadn't heard about the new show. Is it fiction or a documentary?
I’ll miss getting new posts from you, am so grateful for what I’ve read and learned from following you. Hopeful that the time away from writing helps you to have more spoons at the start of each day

Thank you Kristin! That means a lot to me. I'm grateful for your prayers.
My prayers are with you. May the spirit lead you where he wants you to be and who he wants you to be. May his peace be with you.
Many thanks, Richard. I'm grateful for your prayers. May his grace and peace be with you always.

Adsum, I'm sorry to hear you are stopping writing. May God richly bless you in whatever He leads you to do next.
I pray your time off of writing here will allow God to speak into your life in new ways! I've enjoyed our dialogues!

Likewise, Brianna. Always grateful to see your words come across my inbox. I'm looking forward to seeing what God has for me next.

I'm always so thankful for your words, Adsum! You are an excellent writer and an even better friend. Thankful to know you!

God Speed!
And may God prosper you too, Brother.
Hello Adsum, please keep your Raven's desk mailing list, for if/when you pick up your pen again. Otherwise, see you in the Kingdom!
Much love to you, my friend!

It’s fiction based on Cassandra’s life - if I’m right in parallel to Jane’s.
I teared up reading this, Adsum. Will miss your words, but completely respect your choice. Blessings.
Very grateful for you, brother! Praying for you right now, as the Lord continues to guide your steps.
